Midtown Manhattan, New York
Join the Napa Institute and The Busch School of Business at The Catholic University of America for the 2021 Principled Entrepreneurship™ Conference. This is an annual event that unites academic, business and faith leaders to seek a just society through the promotion of principled entrepreneurship. This year, we are returning to Midtown Manhattan!
Join us October 11-14, 2021 at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel as we explore the theme:
“Work and the American Family“
2021 marks the 40th anniversary of two of Pope St. John Paul II’s most influential encyclicals: Laborem exercens (Sept. 1981) & Familiaris consortio (Nov. 1981).
This conference celebrates and explores the intersection of work and family, responding both to St. John Paul II’s call in Laborem exercens to continually study “new meanings of human work” (LE, 2; emphasis in original) and to his challenge in Familiaris consortio to remember that the “future of humanity passes by way of the family” (FC, 86; emphasis in original).
Please note: In accordance with NYC Mayor DeBlasio’s executive mandate, Key to NYC, all meetings and events taking place at the city’s hotels will require attendees to have received a minimum of one dose of the approved Covid-19 vaccines. The mandate will remain in effect until further notice and may be subject to change, when directed by the City of New York. The Napa Institute has not issued this mandate, but if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us immediately.
