I am Cardinal Raymond Burke speaking to my brother Priests. I wholeheartedly welcome you to take part in the Faithful Echo Priest Conference to be held in Denver this coming 28th to the 30th of October.
The conference is so important in our time, in which in various ways the beauty, the holiness of the Priesthood has been assaulted and is being assaulted; and as a result many good Priests feel confused and sometimes even abandoned and profoundly discouraged. For that reason and thanks to the excellent sponsors of the Faithful Echo Priest Conference, we will be able to come together for 3 days and to listen to some excellent presentations, including a presentation from Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller, the former Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, presentations to encourage us and then also to visit with one another in order to be a source of mutual encouragement.
I extend to you my brother Priests, my personal invitation to be present, it would please me so much to meet you there and to be able to speak with you, to learn about your Priestly life and ministry, and to offer you whatever encouragement I may be able to offer, and in a particular way to offer the Holy Mass for you and to pray together with you for God’s blessing upon the Church and especially upon her Priests.
