On Thursday, October 8, the Napa Institute welcomed young professionals to St. Joseph’s Church in Greenwich Village for another wonderful evening of faith, fellowship, and formation as part of our Napa Nights NYC series.
The evening began with Mass celebrated by Fr. Jonah Teller, O.P., followed by a lively reception featuring wines from Trinitas Cellars, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and Queen of Peace. It was a terrific opportunity for attendees to reconnect with old friends, make new connections, and enjoy the growing fraternity of the Napa Institute community in New York City.
The highlight of the evening was a moving and thought-provoking talk by Fr. Innocent Montgomery, C.F.R., who reflected on how the charism of St. Francis of Assisi can be lived out today, particularly amid the demands and distractions of life as a busy young professional in New York City. His reflections offered a powerful reminder that holiness, simplicity, and a spirit of joyful service are possible in the midst of our everyday lives.
Following the talk, a group continued the evening over dinner at Monte’s, carrying forward the spirit of friendship and fraternity that makes Napa Nights so special.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us and look forward to welcoming many more young professionals to our next Napa Nights NYC on Thursday, November 12, featuring Bishop Joseph Espaillat.
Join us for another inspiring evening of faith and fraternity!
