Meet the Presenters
Dr. Scott Hahn
Scott Hahn is the Founder and President of the St. Paul Center. He is also the Fr. Michael Scanlan Professor of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at Franciscan University of Steubenville where he has taught since 1990.
Over the last three decades he has delivered thousands of talks and lectures, nationally and internationally, and he is the author and editor of over forty popular and academic books on topics related to scripture, theology, and the Catholic faith.
Dr. John Bergsma
John Bergsma is the Vice President of Biblical Theology and Mission Effectiveness at the St. Paul Center. He is also a distinguished Professor of Theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville and a renowned expert in the Old Testament and the Dead Sea Scrolls.
A former Protestant pastor, Dr. Bergsma entered the Catholic Church in 2001 while getting his Ph.D. in Bible from the University of Notre Dame. A close collaborator of Dr. Scott Hahn, Bergsma speaks regularly on Catholic radio and at conferences and parishes nationally and internationally.
Msgr. Michael Heintz
Msgr. Michael Heintz, PhD, currently serves as pastor of St. Pius X parish in Granger, IN. He previously served as Associate Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology at Mount St Mary’s Seminary, Emmitsburg, MD, where he also serves as spiritual director. A priest of the Diocese of Fort Wayne – South Bend, he continues to be involved at the University of Notre Dame, where for six years he directed the Master of Divinity Program.
He was rector and pastor of St Matthew Cathedral, South Bend, from 2003-2016. He is a member of the North American Patristic Society, the Society for Catholic Liturgy, and the Academy of Catholic Theology.
Dr. Jeffrey Morrow
Dr. Jeffrey Morrow is a professor of theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville. Before teaching at Franciscan University, and Vice President for Catholic Studies at the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology. Jeff spent 15 years as a professor of theology at Seton Hall University’s Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology. He earned his Ph.D. From the University of Dayton and is the author and co-author of a number of books including Murmuring Against Moses (with John Bergsma), A Catholic Guide to the Old Testament (with Jeff Cavins), and Modern Biblical Criticism as a Tool of Statecraft (with Scott Hahn).
